Destination Weddings, Honeymoons, Vow Renewals
Planning for your special day will be a wonderful time for you! Finding someone you can trust to assist you with planning your special day will be rewarding and beneficial. Judy and Maria’s Travel, Inc. specialized in planning honeymoons, destination weddings and vow renewal celebrations.
Destination weddings are intensive and demand a level of planning and knowledge over that of a traditional wedding. Our destination wedding planners will walk you through every step of the process making it easy, stress-free and enjoyable.
Avoid the Stress
Destination weddings are as stress-free as a wedding can get! You will have an on-site wedding planner handing the majority of the details so that you can sit back and relax. There are no rules, so there is nothing that “must be done.”
Extended Families
It is very common for the bride and groom to live in a different state or country than their parents, siblings and friends. If people have to fly to attend a wedding, why not choose an exotic location. One that people want to visit!
Couples in Second Marriages
Couples in second marriages that include children have a great opportunity to start the new family off with an exciting vacation built into a wonderful event.
Romantics
Nothing is more romantic than a destination wedding. For couples who want to make the wedding something truly special, a destination wedding is the right choice for them. Plus, the destination will always hold a special place in their hearts and is the ideal location to visit over and over again to celebrate anniversaries!
Non-traditional Destination Weddings
Do you want a wedding to symbolize your interests? A destination wedding allows for more choices than the local wedding hall. How about an underwater scuba wedding? For those couples who are not interested in tuxedos and the traditional wedding gown, how about a wedding on the beach in casual clothes and bare feet?
Do you have a limited budget?
Many couples don’t have the means or choose not to spend a lot on one day’s events. With fewer guests and many resorts offering intimate weddings at a minimal cost – or even for free – a destination wedding makes sense for the couple.
The All-Inclusive Wedding
Why not plan your wedding at an all-inclusive resort that offers a wedding ceremony or vow renewal free of charge or for a minimal fee, usually with a minimum stay. Typical inclusions are the services of the wedding officiator, the wedding license, and scenic spot for the ceremony, wedding cake, bouquet and boutonnieres for the bride and groom and a few photographs. An on-site wedding planner can help the couple choose their extras if they want, which can include almost anything you would find at a traditional wedding. The wedding planner also handles all the paperwork and details, allowing the couple to arrive and enjoy their special day and honeymoon after. Couples can come on their own or bring as many guests as they like for the festivities.
The Resort Wedding
Many resorts in the top honeymoon spots around the world have hired on-site wedding planners to create the ideal event for the bride and groom. You will find a choice of packages, from the simplest intimate ceremony for the couple alone; to the most elaborate á la carte affair for hundreds.
Wedding Packages usually include most of the following, depending on the resort and package selected:
-
Services of a judge or minister
-
Services of a wedding coordinator
-
Flowers, including a bouquet for the bride, boutonniere for the groom
-
Wedding cake
-
Bottle of champagne for the wedding toast
-
Private candlelit dinner and/or breakfast in bed for the bride and groom
-
Late checkout for the bride and groom

Hi Maria.
I just wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for all of your help in planning for our wedding. We had an absolutely amazing time, and the wedding was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined! Sunscape (Dreams) was everything we had hoped it would be and more, and we definitely plan on returning at some point in the future. In any event, here are a few of the pictures taken by the wedding photographer. Enjoy--and thanks again!
All the best,
Dane and Wendy

Secrets Capri Resort and Spa in Riviera Maya

Judy and Maria,
"Hi! I just wanted to thank you for helping us find an absolutely wonderful pla ce to have our wedding -- Secrets Capri Resort and Spa. First of all I would like to thank you for answering all of my pre-travel and wedding questions. You made us feel confident that we had all of the appropriate paper work and documentation needed for the ceremony to take place.
We arrived in Cancun on June 30th -- our flight was approximately thirty minutes early. I really appreciate you supplying the private transfer. As soon as we got our bags we had someone who was waiting to take us to the resort. It was nice to have a quiet ride to Secrets Capri Resort and Spa, we both napped on the 30 minute trip there. Upon arrival we received a cool wet towel and a glass of champagne while we sat down to be check in.
When we got into our room I felt like crying. Everything was so beautiful and we were so pampered. It was the perfect atmosphere for a very happy, soon-to-be bride. We had a beautiful exotic flower arrangement, a fruit tray, and a bottle of chilled champagne. The room was ocean view with a spectacular view of the ocean as well as the resort. The customer service was excellent, we felt like royalty. Each night when we got back to our room the bed was turned down. A rose was laid on the bed as well as chocolate. Claudia and Lucely, the wedding planners, were absolutely wonderful. They were both full of enthusiasm. They took care of all of the pre-wedding paperwork, blood tests, etc. They made everything very easy and hassle-free for us. On our wedding day everyone in the hotel knew that it was our special day. Daniel our concierge called that morning to let us know that he was available if we needed anything. Isabel in the hair salon did such a good job on my updo. I am very picky about my hair. She was very meticulous, my hair was perfect before I left the salon. The photographer I also have to praise. Marco was absolutely wonderful and he produced fantastic pictures. These pictures captured the moment beautifully, they will help us remember such a beautiful and romantic day. The Spanish ceremony is also very nice. After the Spanish/English ceremony, that we chose to have on the beach, we had an absolutely delicious Spanish Wedding Cake and champagne.
The ceremony was very intimate. I could not have imagined a more wonderful way to get married. I almost cry every time I think about how absolutely perfect it was. When we got back to the room later that evening the room was covered with flower petals. We had champagne on ice, towels that were made into swans on the bed, and chocolate covered strawberries on the night table. We had the most awesome experience. Thank you for having such a great web site and being so well informed about Secrets Capri Resort. By using you as our travel agent we felt certain that everything we needed would be properly taken care of, and it was.
I have passed your name on to several friends who are getting ready to plan a vacation." Thanks again,
Richard and Bobbi Carpenter
