Judy and Maria's Notes and Impressions on the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort

Our first impression of the Grand Sirens. Riviera Maya was that this hotel is somewhat different from other hotels in the area. The architecture is European Contemporary and the structures are built in a circular configuration around / within the natural habitat of the property. This hotel is encircled by nature. Guests can delight in the natural environment and preservation of the grounds.

An entertainment area, mini-club (ages 4 to 12) and separate children’s swimming pool gives the kids plenty of opportunities to enjoy the numerous family oriented facilities at the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya.

The Grand Sirens. Riviera Maya features a preserved Mayan Ruin, a “cenote” and an underground river “Yalkuito”, and a magnificent stretch of virgin beach, making the resort’s location one of the best in the mayan Riviera. The largest coral reef on the Mayan Riviera is situated in front of the hotel’s coastline. The coral reef is perfect for the scuba enthusiast. The Yalkú lagoon, near Akumal, is connected to the sea, and the combination of fresh and sea water provides the ideal conditions for parrotfish, huge turtles and other tropical fish.
