The Iberostar Paraiso Lindo's eclectic lobby has tall metal palm trees with coconut lanterns, a reception desk with a backdrop of an altar of a Spanish church, marble floors and splashing fountains surrounded with Tiffany-style blue green cut glass.
The Iberostar Paraiso Lindo features five swimming pools: two-lake size, a wave pool for body surfing, and a moving river to float along through the lush gardens.
Judy and Maria's First Impression of the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo
Guests and visitors arriving at the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo will be taken aback with the grandeur, sophistication, and workmanship put into the architecture and design of this great resort. The resort's lobby is simply "unbelievable." The Iberostar Resort's reception desk is situated to the right of the entrance and the d
écor is that of an old-world European Cathedral. The ceiling features a hand-laid, brightly colored stained glass window. One full wall in the reception area features richly colored, ornate wooden church chairs (pews). Behind the reception desk is an elaborately decorated, gold encrusted alter. In front of the reception desk is a handcrafted, full-sized iron palm tree (crafted in the Dominican Republic). The center of the reception area features a bright turquoise, green, and blue mosaic water fountain with the subliminal sound of flowing water. To the left of the reception area is the air-conditioned lobby bar that features a floor-to-ceiling aquarium filled with bright coral and numerous varieties of tropical fish. Strategically placed around the aquarium are chairs and tables.
We were mesmerized with the grandeur of the lobby at the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo. This Iberostar Lindo is like none other. The owner, designers, and architects have gone all out and no expense was spared in the design of this fine resort. Welcome to Iberostar's 6-star all-inclusive resort's beauty of the Caribbean surroundings. 446 rooms in bungalow-style 3-storey buildings. Guests can enjoy 11 restaurants, 9 bars, medical service, hairdressers, shops and supermarket, and a convention center (from winter 2004), amongst other facilities. The magnificent gardens, 5 superb, imaginatively-designed swimming pools, Jacuzzi, massage center, sports courts and large sun terraces (sun loungers, parasols and towels free of charge).
