Note from Maria: I recently had the opportunity to tour the Grand Palladium Bavaro Resort and Palladium Hotels in Punta Cana. The Bavaro rooms are newly renovated and are light and fresh. A large kids club will be completed within the next month and will be the pride of the resort(s) for both parents and children. The Grand Palladium Bavaro Resort is located on a mile of magnificent sand beach sweeps along the Caribbean Sea. The location doesn't get better than this, for Bavaro Beach is why Punta Cana has become the "Number One Beach Destination." The all-inclusive Grand Palladium Bavaro is situated in the unspoiled beauty of cascading feathery fronds of hundreds of coconut palms and on a carpet of lush tropical gardens. An off shore reef, with sunlit gentle waves, creates a coral barrier around smooth turquoise water. Swimming, snorkeling, sailing -- are the pleasures.

The hotel, in particular, integrates 80 acres of spectacular foliage and has been constructed preserving the natural habitat. The ambiance and structures of thatched roofed restaurants along with the soft toned villas enhance the property.

The Grand Palladium Bavaro is situated on one of the best stretches of world famous Bavaro Beach. Since 2004, Fiesta Hotels and Resorts have continued improving the current resort with an ongoing multi-million dollar room and resort renovation.

The Grand Palladium Bavaro Resort & Spa is a true “Family Friendly” and “Adult Friendly” resort. Couples and honeymooners looking for a romantic setting will find the junior suites and Adults Only Romance Suites with hydro-massage “tubs for two” a perfect choice.

The Grand Palladium Bavaro features 62 two story bungalows of 8 rooms per unit, and 28 one-floor units (5 two-floor villas of twenty eight rooms) with a Dominican style facade like local houses, which creates a charming appearance.

Accommodations

There are a total of 636 rooms all of them featuring: Electronic key, in-room safe (no fee), a full bathroom with hydro massage bathtub, hairdryer, mini-bar with soft drinks, water and beer replaced daily, satellite TV, iron and ironing board, coffee / tea maker, balcony or patio, pillow menu (fee, aroma therapy menu (fee), newspaper in room (fee).

Deluxe rooms have a king size bed or two double beds, an in-room safe (no fee), a full bathroom, hairdryer, mini-bar with soft drinks, water and beer replaced daily, satellite TV, iron and ironing board, coffee / tea maker, balcony or patio.

Junior suites have a king size bed or two double beds, an in-room safe (no fee), a full bathroom, hairdryer, mini-bar with soft drinks, water and beer replaced daily, satellite TV, iron and ironing board, coffee/tea maker, balcony or patio. Junior suites are beautifully appointed with polished wood, with same features as listed, plus a living area with double sofa bed. The bathroom has large circular tub with hydro-massage, two sinks and a separate shower.

Family Suites: two-room suites offering deluxe room and junior suite combined. Max occupancy: 8 guests.

Junior Suite Family Room. The room has elegant design and is beautifully appointed with polished wood, king bed or two double beds with memory foam mattress, plus a living area with double sofa bed. The bathroom has large circular tub for two with hydro-massage, two sinks, and separate shower. Reserving as family room you will take advantage of facilities for couples with babies as they feature a baby-care room, a few steps from the room. It also includes a baby kit with practical appliances for traveling with a baby.

Newly renovated Romance Suites (completed summer 2011) designed for honeymooners, with a fresh elegant design featuring a flat screen TV, king size canopy bed with memory foam mattress and a private terrace with a Mayan shower, two wood paneled sides, flowerbed plus all facilities in a junior suite.

Dining Options

All meals, unlimited domestic drinks are included at the Grand Palladium Bavaro. International drinks in certain bars are also availability in your all-inclusive plan. Reservations are no longer required at the a la carte restaurants. No limits, no restrictions. Guests at the hotel have access to 5 buffets and 8 a la carte restaurants and 14 bars located throughout the complex.
