Our first impression as we entered into the lobby of the Barceló Maya Barcelo Maya Tropical Colonial Resort 003-175.jpgTropical Beach & Barcelo Maya Colonial Beach was that of  fresh,clean, and inviting resorts.  We noted many fine touches within the lobby.  The floors were of polished marble and there were numerous Mayan influences in the architecture, artwork and sculptures strategically placed within the lobby.  We noticed sparkling glass tables with spectacular fresh flower arrangements and the sounds of flowing water from the fountains.  We experienced an immediate sense of relaxation, along with the excitement of the opportunity to tour Barceló’s newest hotels in the Mayan Riviera.
