There are three swimming pools at the Barcelo Maya Colonial and Barcelo Maya Tropical Beach Resorts --  two designed for relaxation and a third small pool with games for kids.  One of the biggest theaters in the Riviera Maya offers nightly shows accompanied by a live orchestra.

The spa and gym offers the latest equipment and treatments with a whirlpool, two saunas and two Turkish baths.
