The Catalonia Royal Bavaro Resort is situated along on the Cabezo de Toro beach, approximately 20 minutes from the Punta Cana Airport and 40 km. from the town of Higuey.

The Catalonia Royal Bavaro is an exclusive section of the Catalonia Bavaro Beach Golf and Casino Resort.  The resort features 144 air-conditioned junior suites situated in four 3 storey buildings.  Royal Suites are for adults only with a maximum occupancy of 3 adults.  The rooms feature King Beds Only.  The hotel offers guests 24-hour room service, courtesy bathrobe and slippers, ½ hour free massage per person per stay, private swimming pool with Jacuzzi, private reception, private area at beach.

On site Catalonia Cabeza de Toro Golf Club.  The golf club is situated near the oceanfront and integrated into a wonderful tropical landscape, five lakes and many shade trees define this short but challenging course.  Presently, 18 of the 27 holes are open.  Plus, a 9-hole executive par 3 course.
