^{Judy and Maria’s} First Impression of the Edenh Real Arena Resort and Spa

Our first impression of the Edenh Real Arena Resort was of a somewhat European Contemporary designed hotel.  The lobby is bright, fresh and decorated in dark-colored wood with bright, fresh fabrics and colors. Throughout the lobby was Dominican “Taino” artwork and sculptures along with contemporary artwork, and tropical flowers and greens.  We at once realized that we were to experience a unique hotel.

^{Judy and Maria's} Summation of the Edenh Real Arena Resort

The Edenh Real Arena Resort opened its doors in late December 2007.  Judy and Maria toured the hotel in early December.  In our personal opinion, the hotel was not ready to open.  It did.  With all new hotel grand openings, the facility will have air conditioning, water, staff, and service problems.  But the rates at that time were introductory!  (Don’t read old news!)

Judy and Maria’s Travel, Inc.’s company policy is not to book a new hotel until it has been open and operating for three months.  Judy and Maria’s Travel, Inc. booked many, many guests from late February 2008 with extremely positive feedback.   The Edenh Real Arena Resort is a very solid all-inclusive vacation option for all. It is an absolutely lovely hotel!

• The Edenh Real Arena Resort is located 10 miles from the Punta Cana International airport.

• The Edenh Real Arena Resort is surrounded by two (2) miles of spectacular white sand beach and crystal clear ocean.

• The Paradise Club check-in area is located on one side of the lobby entrance and the check in for the junior suites in located in the main lobby.  Adjacent to the Paradise Club are tour operator desks.  Mid-section of the lobby is the lobby bar and a large sitting area.

• The Internet Café at the Edenh Real Arena is located near the tour desks and features state-of-the-art computer equipment (many computers).  There is a fee to use the Internet Café. 

• Walking out of the lobby, guests will enter a courtyard.  During the evenings there is live entertainment for guests in this lovely courtyard.

• A unique feature of the Edenh Real Arena Resort is the rooftop lounge with lounge beds and even a small pool with glass walls that can be seen from the lower level.  The rooftop lounge is a very popular meeting point in the evenings.

• The restaurants are conveniently located outside the lobby, near the courtyard.  All the restaurants are brightly decorated in appropriate themes.  The menus are diverse and will please even the most finicky eater. The buffet restaurants offer a wide variety of menu selections – hand-carved meat and poultry, pizza, pasta, salads, bread, vegetables, desserts and even an ice cream bar

• The Sports Bar is an extremely popular spot in the evenings.  The bowling alley is (after July 08) located off of the Sports Bar.

• The Edenh Real Arena Resort features a small on-site Casino with slot machines and gaming tables and is conveniently located near the main restaurant area.

• Junior suite guestrooms at the Edenh Real Arena are large, bright and well maintained. Deluxe rooms have one king bed or two double beds, bathroom with Jacuzzi and rain shower, mini bar stocked daily, ceiling fan, plasma satellite TV and balcony or terrace. 

• The Paradise Club rooms feature private check in, private lounge with continental breakfast, drinks and premium bar, concierge service, VIP lobby, VIP swimming pool, luxury room amenities and bathrobes are available.  Note:  we recommend upgrading to the Club Room Section of the hotel.

• The Edenh Real Arena features a children’s program for ages 4-to-7 years of age and also features teen activities.

• The main swimming pool at the Edenh Real Arena Resort is large and features a swim up pool bar.  We noted the color of the water was different.  The tiles in the pool are glimmering gold and some turquoise.  The gold glimmers through the water with the sunlight.  The Club Room section of the Edenh Real Arena offers guests a private adult and a private children’s pool.

• The beach at the Edenh Real Arena Resort is phenomenal!  White sand, tall palms, ample palapas, and clear turquoise sea.  It is an absolutely beautiful feature of the resort.
