Note: Guests vacationing in the "Royal Suites" section of the Grand Palladium Riviera Resort have full access to all of the properties and facilities in the Grand Palladium complex.
Grand Palladium Colonial Resort Location 
The Grand Palladium Colonial Resort is an approximately one- and one-half hour direct ride from the Cancun International Airport. The resort is located near the town of Akumal and approximately 25 minutes from the hotel is the town of Playa del Carmen. All of the above feature rooms and suites feature a spacious balcony with two chairs and a table. All rooms at the Grand Palladium Colonial Resort features a king-size bed or two-double beds, air conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar, TV (satellite link), 2 internal movie channels, telephone, safety deposit box, hair dryer, coffee or tea maker, smoke detector and iron and ironing board.

Guests at the Grand Palladium Colonial Resort have access to 13 bars within the resort complex, excluding the "Royal Suites Concierge Bar" (14).

"TIKAL & LA HACIENDA”
Tikal and La Hacienda are 2 large air-conditioned buffet restaurants with a "Creole Corner" and nightly show cooking.

"Just a short note to let you know our family booked into the White Sands from Jan 14 - 28th. This is our third visit to the Mayan Riviera and the third stay at the Palladium resort (2x at the Kantenah side). What a beautiful resort. My husband & I stayed in a cabana - a very nice experience. Our adult children and friends were in the 'regular' facilities - and they were also beautiful. We found the White Sands side much quieter than the Colonial side and assume it wasn't as full - so we gravitated back to the Colonial during both the day and evening. A short walk and home again. It's amazing that so large a facility seems quite small when you're walking around to and from. The new disco is enormous and busy - but with the trains running from lobby to lobby it wasn't bad at all. The best part of this hotel is running into various employees who remembered us - what a treat. The staff certainly make this a 1st class resort too. All in all, we had a tremendous time - met some wonderful people - both American and Canadian and had some great discussions. The only improvement needed was more sunny days and less wind - but we still came back tanned."

Hey Girls,
"My wife and I would like to thank you so much for our wonderful trip to the Kantenah Grand Palladium Resort and Spa in Riviera Maya, Mexico. This was our first trip together outside of the United States and will certainly not be our last. My wife was a little concerned leaving the states, but with the information that you provided along with the guidance from Maria it was a relaxing, enjoyable planning event for us. The Kantenah resort has been in our dreams for most of our lives, the beautiful settings, the long beach area with palm trees and individual umbrella type huts to get under. The marble floors every where, glass restaurants to eat in and enjoy a pleasant view, the gold fish ponds surrounding the walk ways are just unbelievable. We walked from our Mayan Suite through the tropical forest on the beautiful raised bridge walkways that run throughout the resort. Our Mayan suite was awesome, especially the outdoor shower which I used every time I took a shower. This resort is simply paradise, our dreams finally came to reality thanks to you recommending this resort. We went down town to Playa Del Carmen without any problems at all, we took the local transit called collectivos which are air conditioned Ford vans it was three dollars for both of us one way. This is a beautiful town right on the beach with plenty of shops and excellent places to eat. The conversion of money to Pesos was very easy since it is 10 pesos to a dollar, we had no trouble understanding what things cost. I could go on and on about this trip, but to really sum it up, it was the best experience we have ever had and truly enjoyed a worry free vacation and be to treated like royalty by such friendly people is just awesome. We are already planning our next trips back for next year and have decided we owe it to ourselves to take time and enjoy this experience together which actually brought us closer together. My husband and I have traveled extensively around the world. This was our 29th trip to the country of Mexico. We are not "all inclusive resort" type of people but felt this would be the best for this wide assortment of our 4 kids, their spouses and the 7 grandkids. Therefore, we needed help from someone who was knowledge.........and dare I say.......not afraid of a little work on our behalf! I found this in you. I knew when you replied to my first e-mail within l hour that I had a winner in you. I liked your obvious knowledge of the area. I liked your "take charge attitude". I liked the speed that you worked. I liked the way you answered all my questions. I liked the idea that I felt like I was a worthy client for you. You have no idea how many incompetent travel agents I have encountered through the years and how many just simply lazy travel agents I have encountered in our many travels. But not you. For instance I talked to two different agents about this trip in January. Both said they would call me back in April/May when the fall rates came in......................I am still waiting on both of those phone calls. I would think that a group of 17 would mean a decent commission. I sold real estate for 25 years and I know the importance of "getting back" to the client and I know about working for commissions. Once again, Maria, Thank You for being a great travel agent and I have already given your name to several people."

"We were confident that we were picking a winner with the Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort, but we had no idea that it would be so spectacular. We just returned from a week at the Palladium Resort in the Mayan Riviera. This was our first time in Mexico. We loved it.
The resort was truly magnificent from the food, drinks, accommodations, nightly shows and the cleanliness of the entire resort.
The Airport check in and departure went smoothly. Our flight left exactly on time and we arrived approx. 5 minutes early. We saw the Apple rep as we got outside. We were taken to an Apple transport van. We arrived at the Palladium 50 min later & were taken to the appropriate lobby. Check in was a breeze. The room was very clean and quiet.
We checked out at 12 noon and after that we enjoyed the pool and the lunch before we got the Apple Vacations shuttle to our plane. Everything was perfect.
Thank you to everyone at Apple Vacations, the Palladium Resort and Spa and especially you Maria for making our holiday very relaxing, fun, and unforgettable. "

"WOW!!!!! what a fantastic trip to the Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort in the Riviera Maya....we just got back last night and had a wonderful time. It WAS EVERYTHING you said it would be. The place is beautiful and the service was first rate. As they said when we checked in "welcome home" and we were treated as "family" the whole week. I would be willing to tell anyone about it if you have any others with questions. They can email me. I also bragged about your service and internet site to other couples for their next travel plans...needless to say, some didn't get as good of a "deal" as we did. We got your card when we checked in and that was nice. The Resort also sent a basket of fruit for our anniversary. Also, if you had anything to do with the placement of our room, thanks. We were in 1710 with a king bed on the Colonial side so we were close to the pool, towel place, adult pool, beach, restaurants, etc. We were in the heart of everything!! I may ramble, but I am trying to unpack and pack for my next trip which is tomorrow for business. The plane USA 3000 was on time and roomy and the movie and meals were a nice touch. The lady next to me on the way down aid she was surprised and felt like she was in first class! The evening shows were nice and Paula and I even won some Tequila on the couples contest night (you know, the one with the balloons and drinking contests) What people will do for tequila...heck we even won the bottle of champagne on the flight home for filling out the Apple survey. (Only wish it was a voucher for a future apple trip---hahaha)...well, better get going...THANKS again and feel free to keep us on a list of future trip specials...we can't wait to go with you again..."
