Ms. Hayde Bacelis, Sales Director at Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras Resort.  Ms. Bacelis may be recognized from her position as Sales Director at Sunscape® the Beach Resort in Punta Cana. Keep up the great work and welcome to Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras Ms. Bacelis!

The Beach at Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras Resort and Spa

The 305 room Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras is set amidst the beauty and mystery of the Mayan coast, on a private beach in the marina community of Puerto Aventuras.  The beach at Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras Resort is, in our opinion, beautiful with its white sand and calm, turquoise ocean that is perfect for snorkeling, swimming, floating on a raft or just lounging by the shore.  The private beach is the focal point of the Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras Resort.  A bonus for guests who love snorkeling is an amazing natural pool that is fed by the sea, surrounded by rocks, and has a myriad of underwater life to discover. 

Sunscape® Dive Center - Pro Dive

The Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras Resort features, in our opinion, a first-class PADI dive center and a water activities hut -- Pro Dive operated by Ralph Pistor, Dive Master. Approximately 100 yards from the beach are reefs that are perfect for diving and snorkeling.   

Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras Marina

A full-service marina is nearby Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras Resort and Spa. Walking along the marina and watching the yachts coming in from the sea is truly special and beautiful.  The marina area is one of our favorite spots to visit while in Puerto Aventuras.

The Pools At Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras Resort

The resort offers two adult swimming pools (one new pool) with swim-up bars and children's pool.  The Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras Resort also features one of the largest Jacuzzi's that we have ever seen!

Adult Pool at Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras Resort

Located on the Marina side of Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras Resort is the "Adults Only" pool and Manatee Swim up bar.  For those wishing to relax in a tranquil, quiet atmosphere, this area offers the perfect ambiance.  Open daily from 7:00 am to 11 pm. Manatee Swim up pool bar is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Adults only - no activities, no music and no children under 16 are permitted in this area.

Main Pool at Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras Resort

The expansive main pool is for everyone's enjoyment.  Open daily from 7:00 am to sunset.  Swim up to the Sugar Reef Bar for a refreshing cocktail or partake in one of the many activities offered daily such as volleyball or water aerobics or just sit back and relax, the decision is yours.

Children's Pool at Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras Resort

Located adjacent to the main pool.  Only one (1) foot deep, insuring that the little ones have a safe environment to enjoy themselves.    

Explorers Kids Club at Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras Resort

The Explorers Kids Club at the Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras Resort is a fully supervised children program for ages 4 to 12.  Children will enjoy arts and crafts, sandcastle competitions, big screen movies on the beach and the weekly camp out adventure.  The Explorers Club will entertain the little ones with a different daily program based on science, nature and exploration.  Children will enjoy snorkeling adventures, iguana safaris, sandcastle competitions or the weekly camp out Adventure. 

Teen's at Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras Resort

Teens will enjoy a variety of exciting land and sea adventures, outings, competitions and excursions.

The Aquatic Center at Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras Resort

The Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras Resort's aquatic's center offers daily activities by the pools and the beach, non-motorized water sports equipment including catamarans, paddleboats, kayaks, boogie boards, snorkeling and sailboats.

Also available:  beach volleyball court, guided bicycle tours, board games, shuffleboard, bocce ball and introductory scuba diving lessons in pool area.  A PADI Diving Center is available.

A  wide variety of non-motorized watersports are offered. A professional team will gladly assist you with Hobbie Cat Lessons, sailing, kayaks, windsurfing, boards and lessons (fee may apply).  Complimentary scuba lessons are offered daily at the main pool.  Guests can sign up with the dive master at the Pro Dive watersports center on site.

Entertainment at Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras Resort

Sunscape Puerto Aventuras Resort offers a variety of water, land and beach activities.  Soar on an ocean trampoline, explore by bike, or take a salsa dance lesson.  Then relive your adventures while soaking in an oceanfront Jacuzzi.  The supervised Explorer's Club provides kids with fantasy-filled fun including a floating iceberg, sandcastle competitions, big screen movies on the beach, tree house and weekly camp out adventures.

Daytime Activities

Beach Massage Center:  The massage gazebo provides the ultimate area for relaxation. Guests can enjoy several different styles of massage while being soothed by the gentle sounds of the Caribbean Sea.  Open daily from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras offers an incredible variety of activities and sports-oriented fun filled days.  Choose to participate or just sit back and relax!

Beach Volleyball Court
Every day the opportunity to play volleyball presents itself!  Join in pairs or team competitions.

Bicycle Center
The bicycle center is located in the front parking area.  Bicycles and full safety equipment are provided.  Group tours depart at 10 am daily.  Open daily from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Gymnasium
Located on the first floor, the gymnasium is staffed with a professional trainer.  The gymnasium is open daily from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm and features free weights, Nautilus machines and aerobic equipment.

Night Activities

Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras Resort comes alive when the sun goes down.  Enjoy live music in Desires, fun casino games for prizes, nightly first run movies or just sit back and relax under the bright stars.

Spa and Fitness Center at Sunscape® Puerto Aventuras Resort

Pamper yourself at the beautiful full-service spa offering a wide range of professional face, hair, and body treatments for men and women.  Relax in the adults-only pool, swim in the natural mini-lagoon, a protected ocean oasis, or raise your heart rate at the state-of-the-art fitness center.

The spa and fitness center offers world-class body and facial treatments featuring outdoor massage areas, beauty salon and fully equipped fitness center. 

The new polished marble spa is spectacular and is staffed by professional personnel. We each had a somewhat different perspective of the staff members working at this spa.  We said to each other at the very same time, "I know what you mean, Classy".    We each opted for a Swedish Massage that lasted 80 minutes.  The massage was wonderful and was ever so relaxing.  Just what the doctor ordered!  The Spa offers a full range of services using the finest amenities.  Also available is a beauty salon and a new fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment.   We highly recommend at least one spa treatment, preferably the day of arrival to set the tone of your vacation.

Completely refurbished rooms have two double beds or one king bed, hair dryer, coffee maker, mini-bar stocked with soft drinks, bottled water, safe, iron, ironing board, cable/satellite TV and patio or balcony.  Premium marina-view and Premium ocean-view rooms featuring upgraded amenities and suites are also available. 305 air-conditioned rooms.

All rooms and suites are modern, spacious and offer balconies or terraces with brilliant views of the Caribbean, yacht-filled marina, shimmering pools and perfectly manicured gardens.  Each guest room is finely decorated in fresh colors and polished-stone floors.
