• Civil wedding: This is a wedding carried out by a Civil Registrar and legally recognized all over the world. You will be provided with the necessary official documents which are legally recognized and binding throughout the world. The ceremony will take place in Spanish. In the event of requiring an interpreter, please request this service from the wedding coordinator. No civil weddings may take place on a Sunday or a Public Holiday in Mexico.

• Non-religious or symbolic weddings: This is a ceremony officiated by a non-denominational minister who is not legally recognized. Couples generally opt for this ceremony when they have been married previously, or to renew their wedding vows. Read more about destination weddings
